This course introduces the fundamentals of the science and technology of winemaking and targets the home winemaker as well as those interested in exploring winemaking as a career as either a cellar worker or as a new winery owner. The course establishes a basic understanding of winemaking, including making wine from a kit. Prerequisite(s): ACT Reading score of 19 or satisfactory placement scores or completion of Learning Support Reading Previously VITT 1460
