Certified Nursing Assistant – Occupational Skills Certificate
The Certified Nursing Assistant program provides the student with the necessary skills to seek employment in long-term care facilities as a Certified Nurse Assistant. Emphasis is on principles of nursing concepts and the application of nursing skills essential to the function of a certified nurse assistant in long-term care facilities. Students must provide their transportation to off-campus sites. A selected uniform, nursing shoes, and medical instruments (i.e., stethoscope) are required for program participation.
