Economics – Associate in Arts Degree for Transfer
Economics is a social science discipline concerned chiefly with description, theory and analysis of production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services. Economics is concerned with rational consumers making choices under conditions of scarcity. Students will be introduced to concepts and tools of economic analysis including theory of demand and supply, national income accounting, economic growth and business cycle. Students will have the ability to analyze fiscal, monetary and trade policies.
