WELD1036 — TIG (GTAW) Welding
This course will introduce students to the GTAW, or TIG, welding process on carbon steel as well as certain alloys. Students will develop the skills needed to TIG weld all thicknesses of material, in all positions and joint configurations (lap, corner, fillet, open root). Students will learn to meet and exceed AWS code and procedures and demonstrate proper safety, craftsmanship, and basic fitting skills.
