WELD1026 — Introduction to Pipe Welding
In this course students will be introduced to pipe welding procedures corresponding to ASME B31 standards. Students will be taught to produce high quality open root welds in pipe using the SMAW process in the 2G, 5G, and 6G positions. E6010 and E7018 electrodes of various sizing will be used. Basic template usage and pipefitting will also be taught.
