SURG1213 — Surgical Procedures II
This course explores the in-depth study of relevant surgical anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, and diagnostic interventions to: orthopedic surgery, genitourinary surgery, ophthalmic surgery, and ear, nose, and throat surgery. The specialty areas of plastic and reconstructive surgery, thoracic, peripheral and cardiovascular surgery and neurosurgery. It emphasizes patient care, surgical anatomy, supplies and equipment needed, sequence of procedures, pathophysiology, diagnostic tests, preoperative and postoperative care, and complications of surgical procedures.
