This course will teach the foundational marketing activities including market segmentation, consumer behavior, product strategy, pricing, promotion, and distribution of cannabis products and services. Principles, regulations, and practices used in the cannabis industry are also covered. The course will cover the processes of developing merchandise, from initial concept to production in the cannabis industry. Existing successful products and their various elements, which may become ideas for new, innovative product ideation will also be covered in class.
