SOCI 2063 - Global Diversity SOCI 2063 - Global Diversity Description A sociological examination of the global nature of racial/ethnic diversity, the causes and consequences of prejudice and discrimination, varying patterns of interaction and relationships in society from assimilation to genocide, colonialism and post-colonialism impact on indigenous populations, indigenous resistance and anti-racist movements. Emphasis on the United States is to show, through a comparative approach, that it is not unique. Countries selected for comparison will vary. 3 Credit Hour(s)
