ETEC 2003 - Educational Technology ETEC 2003 - Educational Technology Description Instruction in selecting, utilizing, and evaluating instructional materials and equipment. Introduction to the application of educational technology in teaching and learning using strategies in design, selection, integration, and evaluation. This course introduces students to the most essential instructional tools to creatively and ethically infuse technology in the development of instructional materials, including tools to facilitate professional layouts, imaging, presentations, and communication. (Scholar Practitioner Tenet 1) Identify and utilize the types of computer equipment and software needed to enhance curriculum using the Arkansas Curriculum Frameworks. (Scholar Practitioner Tenet 1) Create lesson plans that incorporate the different uses of technology. (Scholar Practitioner Tenets 2, 5) Recognize how to access, evaluate, and use information to improve teaching and learning. (Scholar Practitioner Tenet 2) Use computer applications and tools to design instruction. (Scholar Practitioner Tenet 2) • Access and evaluate technology educational materials. (Scholar Practitioner Tenet 1) Demonstrate awareness of adaptive assistive devices for students with special needs. (Scholar Practitioner Tenets 3, 5) Identify Internet resources for facilitating learning and emerging technologies. (Scholar Practitioner Tenets 1, 2) Explore, evaluate and use technology resources (software, tools, etc.) (Scho
