CJCR 1400 - Basic Jail Course CJCR 1400 - Basic Jail Course 4 credit hours. Lecture/Lab/Clinical: Five hours of class each week. This course provides instruction in human relations, observation, evaluation of prisoners, booking procedures, classification, mug shots, fingerprinting, strip searches, meals, medical services, visitation, inmates rights and privileges, detention areas, key, knife and tool control, disturbances, riots, fire procedures, and release procedures. Taught in accordance with the current TCLEOSE Instructor guides provided by the Commission for course 1007.
