8 Credits In this course, students will study the gas tungsten arc welding process. The student will use equipment to perform various welds in all positions. Labs will provide opportunities for students to practice the GTAW process and clean the metals. Students will learn how to repair and maintain the equipment. Upon completion of this course, students will be proficient in both aluminum and steel TIG welding. They will have the skills needed to obtain jobs in the TIG welding career field.
