3 Credits This course is designed to introduce students to global social problems. Various social problems will be defined, explained, and described in reference to the situation. Some social problems will be Macro (unemployment, poverty, crime, etc.) and other problems will be Micro (drug abuse, sexual behavior, wellbeing). Topics studied are based on empirical research.
