CIS2413 — Network Design
3 Credits This course is the capstone course for the Computer Networking degree. This course will assign students current real world projects in network design that will include researching the best methods, writing a paper proposing and describing in detail the design approach, and implementing the design in the classroom with servers, network switches, and routers. At the end of the semester, the students will give an oral presentation demonstrating and defending their design to a panel of their students and teacher. Course Availability: pring Semester Only (PLO 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7) Research and determine the best network implementation process (PLO 3, 4 ) Plan and document a network design implementation (PLO 3, 4, 5, 6) Calculate and write cost estimates (PLO 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7) Perform a network design implementation physically and virtually (PLO 1, 2, 3, 4)
