CIS2212 — Command Line Scripting

2 Credits This course teaches the student how to use the command line interface on a Linux/Unix platform. Examples of the command line interfaces would be Python, BASH, Perl, and PowerShell. Students will gain experience in using the command line interface to communicate directly with the computer expanding your capabilities to automatic routine functions, manipulate files, query system resources, and combine command line statements into shell scripts. Course Availability: all Semester Only Corequisite: CIS 2663 Routing & Switching Course Level
