3 Credits This course will provide students with the fundamental concepts of Linux/UNIX operating systems. The course covers such topics as the Linux/UNIX file system, commands, utilities, text editing, shell programming, text processing utilities, security, and cloud virtualization. Course Availability: all Semester Only Configure the network connections of Linux OS (PLO 1, 2). Configure the administrative features of Linux OS (PLO 1, 2). Manage the Linux disk and file system (PLO 1, 2). Employ security in a Linux environment (PLO 1, 2, 3, 4).
