3 Credits This course provides the student with the knowledge necessary to manage security threats for computer systems. The following knowledge domains are addressed: 1) Identity Management and Authentication; 2) Physical and Network Security; 3) Host and Application Defense; 4) Data Security; 5) Audit and Security Assessment Course Availability: pring Semester Only (PLO 1, 4, 5) Design security policy. (PLO 4, 5, 6, 7) Develop an incident response strategy. (PLO 1, 4, 5, 6, 7) Demonstrate competency in Network Security as measured by a certification-based industry-standard competency exam..
