MEA 105 - Laboratory Techniques MEA 105 - Laboratory Techniques Min This course introduces basic principles of laboratory safety, infection control; biological and chemical hygiene associated with CLIA waived testing techniques. Topics covered include the proper collection and processing of blood and non-blood specimens for therapeutic treatment, diagnostic procedures, or analysis. Identifying normal versus abnormal laboratory values, the purpose of common tests, and proper documentation procedures as well as common clinical complications associated with such practices will also be reviewed.
