HST 105 - Cultural Competence w/Diverse Populations HST 105 - Cultural Competence w/Diverse Populations Min This course identifies the special needs and issues involved in providing human services to diverse populations. Diversity includes but is not limited to race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, age and socioeconomic status. The focus is on the inequalities affecting these groups, culturally relevant intervention strategies used at the micro, mezzo and macro levels of practice and advocacy strategies used in the pursuit of social, economic and environmental justice.
