BUS 221 - Business Law BUS 221 - Business Law Min This course is a study of the U.S. legal system and dispute resolution. Major units of study include: sources of law, torts and crimes, contract and sales law, personal property law, employment law, consumer credit/bankruptcy law, and a study of business organizations. In addition, units on ethics, cyber law, e-contracts, intellectual property law, and alternative dispute resolutions are presented. Cases and media presentations are used to highlight important concepts. Transfer Assurance Guide (TAG) approved effective spring 2008 (OBU004 - Legal and Social Environment of Business).
