RADS1121 — Clinical Practicum/Seminar
Academic Division: Radiological Sciences 2 Credit(s) Clinical Practicum is designed to provide students with a practical application of material learned in didactic courses. In this course students will be assigned to an affiliated clinical facility and will complete the onboarding process. An overview to the electronic clinical records system used by the program will be explained and students will begin using the system this semester. Students will manipulate radiology equipment, position patients for exams, practice radiation protection and provide patient care under the appropriate level of supervision by qualified radiographers.
