Topics covered in lecture/lab include: Commercial Refrigeration Controls and Components; Proper procedures for Ice Machine installation, maintenance, and servicing; Proper procedures for Walk-In Coolers and Walk-In Freezer sizing, installation, maintenance, and servicing; Proper procedures for Reach-In Coolers and Reach-In Freezers, and Prep Table installation, maintenance, and servicing; Proper procedures for Semi-Hermetic Reciprocating Compressor break-down and repair of gaskets, valves, valve plates, piston, rings, crankshaft, and the compressor oil pumps will be covered.
