Topics covered in lecture/lab include Manuals D, Manual S, and Manual T for duct design, static pressures, sizing practices, and applications. Ductwork fabrication includes regular ductwork, end caps, plenums, offsets, transitions, and elbows. Other topics include proper ductwork sealing, ductwork insulation, and ductwork installation practices; pressure testing of ductwork utilizing a “Duct Blaster” will also be covered.Lecture 1 hours and Laboratory 2 hours per week.
