ENGR 1123 - HVAC/R Systems ENGR 1123 - HVAC/R Systems This course will introduce the students to the various types of HVAC/R Systems used in residential and commercial applications. Topics covered in lecture / lab include HVAC/R theory and applications, energy consumption analysis, energy efficiency ratings, Balance Point, COP, installations practices, proper duct sealing methods, and duct blasting procedures. Lecture 2 hours and Laboratory 2 hours per week.
