EDUC 2013 - Child Growth and Development EDUC 2013 - Child Growth and Development This course studies environmental and hereditary effects on the cognitive, affective, psychomotor, and sociolinguistic development of typically and atypically developing children from conception to adolescence. It introduces students to learning theories applied to developmental stages, ways to observe and evaluate children’s development, recognition of possible delays in development, practical application of theory through a variety of hands-on experiences and observations. Lecture 3 hours per week. Prerequisite(s): EDUC 1213
