AST 1013 - Outdoor Power Equipment Suspension and Steering AST 1013 - Outdoor Power Equipment Suspension and Steering The understanding, diagnosis, repair, and replacement of suspension and steering systems will be covered in this course. This course provides an introduction to the following topics: maintenance of mower deck leveling systems, replacing shock absorbers and coil / leaf springs on various equipment, steering alignment, tire replacement, repair and replacement of steering components, and basic metal fabrication and frame repair. Lecture 1 hour and Laboratory 3 hours per week.
