Associate in Applied Science Degree (AAS)
The Associate in Applied Science degree is generally pursued by those students who plan to enter the workforce following graduation from NMC. A career specialty emphasis is the dominant characteristic of the Applied Science Degree. Although some students pursuing the AAS degree may transfer to a four-year college or university to pursue a baccalaureate degree, many AAS courses are not granted transfer equivalency credit at Michigan universities.
