MTH261 — Applied Calculus I

3 credit(s) Students should determine requirement of 4-year transfer institution prior to selection. Both MTH 261 and MTH 262 are required at Virginia Tech for majors in the Pamplin College of Business. Introduces limits, continuity, differentiation and integration of algebraic, exponential and logarithmic functions, and techniques of integration with an emphasis on applications in business, social sciences and life sciences. This is a Passport Transfer course. Lecture 3 hours. Total 3 hours per week.
