MUS 1211 - Applied Trombone I MUS 1211 - Applied Trombone I (formerly MUS 1048 - Applied Trombone) 2 private lesson hours per semester A comprehensive study of the trombone that includes building technical and artistic skills inherent in both classical and jazz settings. Note: This course may be repeated by all students and must be completed two times by students who are earning the A.F.A. in Music . To fulfill requirements for the A.F.A. in Music, students must complete eight hours of applied lessons and four hours of ensembles appropriate to applied area. Semester Availability: Fall, Spring as needed
