HCMT 2400 - Pathophysiology HCMT 2400 - Pathophysiology 3 Class Hours This course focuses on pathophysiology for general healthcare managers. Topics include an introduction to principles of general mechanisms of disease including etiology, prognosis, signs, and symptoms; relationship of normal body functioning to the physiologic changes that occur as a result of illness; and rationale for common therapies, laboratory tests, and drugs for selected diseases. Note: Student must maintain a grade of “C” or higher in order to progress in program. Semester Availability: Fall, Spring Not part of a Tennessee Transfer Pathway
