COM 1150 - Typography I COM 1150 - Typography I 3 Class Hours An introduction to the aesthetics and mechanics of typographic form. Students will learn the fundamental practices of how to effectively communicate using typographic form through an emphasis on theory and practice. Topics include font selection, recognition and classification, alignment, hierarchy, size, letterspacing and legibility.
