HUM 180 — International Cultural Exploration

2 3 3 Prerequisites: None Corequisites: None This course provides a framework for students to visit, examine, and analyze a country/region outside the United States to learn about the place and people. Emphasis is placed on the distinctive cultural characteristics of a country or re - gion. Upon completion, students should be able to identify similarities/differ - ences, analyze causes/effects, and clearly articulate the impact of one or more cultural elements. This course has been approved for transfer under The Compre- hensive Articulation Agreement (CAA) and the ICAA as a pre-major and/or elec - tive course requirement.
