Natural Sciences Division Degree S0961 This program provides on-campus and on-site technical training in the field of histotechnology, focusing on routine tissue sample preparation, routine and special stains, and techniques such as enzyme histochemistry, immunohistochemistry, and in situ hybridization. Training on campus will utilize samples routinely prepared in both clinical and research facilities. As part of their formal training, students of histotechnology will utilize materials to prepare graduates for the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Histotechnician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) certification examination.
