MUS 1057 - Music Theory I MUS 1057 - Music Theory I 3 sem hrs cr This course provides a study on music notation and harmony including major and minor scales, key signatures, triads, intervals, and rhythm. Students will learn to write four-part music, including primary chords in first inversion and cadences. This is a university-parallel course for students majoring in music. This course satisfies the three-hour program requirement for the TTP agreement in accordance with the A.F.A. degree in Music.
