BIOL 2230 - Microbiology BIOL 2230 - Microbiology 4 sem hrs cr (3 hours lecture, 3 hours lab) This course is a study of micro-organisms, especially bacteria, with emphasis on cytology, morphology, physiology, genetics, medical aspects, and cultural techniques. Laboratory experiments are designed to familiarize the student with microbiological techniques, cultivation, isolation, identification of bacteria and other micro-organisms.
