Career Programs ASSOCIATE IN APPLIED SCIENCE This degree is for students who intend to pursue employment upon graduation. Students must meet the general education requirements as listed in the Catalog for the Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) Degree. Students pursuing this degree must complete the remaining required credit hours according to the requirements of the. program. CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS Career certificate programs provide basic skills in technical courses that prepare students for entry-level jobs. Certificate programs typically require one semester to one year of full-time study to complete. Career certificate programs are outlined in the following pages.
