CIS 165 — Fundamentals of Information Security

Computer and Network security and countermeasures that are used to secure modern systems and networks. Topics to be covered include firewalls, intrusion detection systems, security protocols, IT policy, and best practices. Lecture two hours, laboratory three hours per week.
