POLS- C1000H — American Government and Politics - Honors
Description: This course is an introduction to government and politics in the United States and California. Students examine the constitutions, structure, and operation of governing institutions, civil liberties and civil rights, political behaviors, political issues, and public policy using political science theory and methodology. This is an honors course. As Honors, this course offers an enriched experience for accelerated students through limited class size; seminar format; focus on primary texts; and application of higher-level critical thinking skills. Students may not receive credit for both POLS C1000 and POLS C1000H. 54.00 hours lecture. (Letter grade only)
