Description: This course is designed to meet the state and national accreditation requirements for an approved Dental Hygiene Program. This course is designed to introduce the student to nutritional principles in assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating total care of the patient with the emphasis on the nutrition as it relates to the patient’s dental health. 18.00 hours lecture. (Letter grade only)
