Description: A survey of the traditional through contemporary arts of African peoples. Both historical and current expressions of sculpture, body adornment, dance, architecture, painting, artifacts, ceramics, and textiles will be introduced and integrated with other aspects of life and culture in sub-Saharan Africa. 54.00 hours lecture.
