Description: An introduction to the fundamentals of painting (oil or acrylic). An exploration of various considerations in painting; techniques, process, color theory, visual perception, composition, and creative skills. Students pay for their own materials. 36.00 hours lecture and 72.00 hours laboratory. (Letter grade or Pass/No Pass option)
