SPAN 221 — : Spanish for Native Speakers
This intensive course prepares native Spanish speakers with little or no formal training in Spanish for more advanced courses. It addresses listening comprehension, speaking, reading, and writing while emphasizing the improvement of reading and writing skills. Students also learn about regional variations in standard Spanish, Spanglish and code-switching, and the relationship between language and cultural identity.
