LIBR 201 — : Media & Information Literacy

This course explores the evolving media landscape and how technology, manipulation, and bias shape online behavior. Students develop information literacy skills in order to deconstruct media messages, conduct specialized research, critically evaluate information, and use information ethically. Topics include artificial intelligence, misinformation, digital citizenship, consumerism, and privacy. UC CREDIT LIMITATION: Credit for LIBR 201 or LIBR 201H .
