HIST 113 — : American Military History

This course surveys American military history from the colonial period to the present. It emphasizes the institutional, technological, social, political, and cultural contexts in times of peace and conflict. The course reviews all major American conflicts and emphasizes the military's influence upon foreign policy, domestic affairs, and diplomacy.
