Patient Care Technician
With training as a Patient Care Technician, also known as a patient aide, graduates will be able to work in a variety of healthcare settings such as hospitals, long-term care facilities, home health care agencies, and doctors' offices. The Patient Care Technician program combines training in Certified Nursing Assistant, EKG Technician, and Phlebotomy Technician courses. Upon completion of this program, students will be eligible to take the Certified Patient Technician/Assistant exam offered through NHA and earn the designation of CPCT/A.
