ESL 0373 - Composition Add to My Personal Catalog ESL 0373 - Composition 3 Hours ESL Accuplacer placement 70-82. This course is designed to offer academic writing in multiple modalities for second language learners. Emphasis will be on grammar, syntax, content and organizational style. Students must be proficient in English to read classic essays and literature. At the end of the semester, students may challenge the Midland College developmental reading/writing exam or the TSI. A student who does not pass will be placed in an appropriate IRWD class. This course may be taken as a developmental credit class or through continuing education. Course scheduling information.
