MATH20AS — Basic Structures Support
<b><font color="7A0018">Begins Fall 2025</b></font><br> This course is designed to complete the first course of a two-course sequence in basic concepts of mathematics required for students preparing to teach at the elementary school level. It covers elementary set theory, numeration systems, number theory, the set of integers, the set of rational numbers, and the set of real numbers. Also included is a review of the core prerequisite skills, competencies, and concepts needed in Math 20A. Topics include concepts from beginning, elementary algebra, and geometry.
