BHAV311 — Treatment of Mental Health Disorders

5 credits This course investigates the variety of ways we can reduce the impacts of common mental health disorders. Reviewing evidence-based research, students survey the range of effective, promising, and ineffective treatments for common mental health disorders such as psychosis, bipolar, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and PTSD. Topics include biological, psychological, and social treatments, including professional services and self- options. Prerequisites: Admission to the BASBH program Course
