MATH 130B — Intermediate Algebra, Part B

This is the second of a two-semester sequence of intermediate algebra. This course continues the study of algebra in preparation for transfer level courses. Topics include radicals and complex numbers; quadratic functions; exponential and logarithmic functions; and conic sections. Application problems are solved throughout the course. Students are required to complete 5 hours of supplemental learning activities in any designated Success Center. A student may receive credit for either MATH 130 or MATH 130A and MATH 130B .
