MATH 110B — First Course in Algebra-Part 2
This is the second of a two-semester sequence of the first course in algebra. Topics include factoring, simplifying rational and radical expressions, solving rational and radical equations, and solving quadratic equations. Application problems are solved throughout the course. Group activities are incorporated within the lab portion of the course. Students are required to complete 5 hours of supplemental learning activities in any designated Success Center. A student may receive credit for either MATH 110 or MATH 110A and MATH 110B .
