HLT 109 — Medical Terminology
This course is designed to give students a thorough knowledge of the construction of medical terms, including roots, corresponding forms, prefixes, suffixes and plurals. Intensive work is done on correct pronunciation and the use of a medical dictionary. The course is helpful to persons entering any health-related field and serves as an orientation to medical transcription. R, 12 (3 lecture hours)
